Job Title : QA Analyst (Release Management) Location : Washington, DC Type : Long Term Rate - $Open (Best Possible) Job Responsibilities – Coordinate builds and testing of releases. Coordinate the scheduling and roll out of releases. Provide communication and information, including relevant release documentation, as required. Ensure appropriate checkpoints are met and coordinate release sign off. Coordinate the implementation of the release. Complete post implementation reviews. Maintain quality checks on releases and record those that directly or indirectly cause support Incidents. Requirement – Strong attention to detail, coordination, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Must have hands on experience with a TPF system. Must be well versed in Schedule Management. Capable to deliver a comprehensive assessment of current state of project's release statuses. Previous exposure to ITIL release, service management and/or project management. Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle work pressures to successfully deliver releases. Experience of working across different business areas, demonstrating customer focus and good corporate awareness. Service Now experience extremely desirable. Involvement in design and implementation of policy, process and procedure. Demonstrable ability of being able to communicate across departments at all levels and with senior management, including directors. - CCTV Camera Surveillance and Access Control systems technicians. - Installing access point. - Installing Arm gates and Gates Operators - Running cables. - Punch down cables on the patch panel. - Cat5e/Cat6/Optical fiber cable installation inside/between cabinets (through cable tray). - Cat5e/Cat6 cable termination and testing. - Cable dressing and labeling. - Optical fiber cable testing. - Pulling and routing CAT 6 cable in commercial environments. - Testing all cables prior to installation and cable pathways end to end before and after installation. - Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks). - Terminating RJ45 jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames. - Performing appropriate labeling of all installed equipment cable. - Complete the assigned tasks safely and to CTS standards of quality and professionalism. - Cable/Fiber Technician will demonstrate the ability to run cat5/6/fiber optics through multiple projects and use hand and power tools safely and efficiently in both indoor and outdoor environments. - Proficient with fiber connector prep and installation. - Proficient with fiber test equipment. - Clean appearance and effective communication skills. - Must have a clean driving record and must be able to pass drug screening. - MUST BE PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR AMERICAN CITIZENS AS REQUIRED BY AIRPORTS AND GOVERNMENT CUSTOMERS. - SEND RESUMES WITH DETAILED WORK HISTORY. Responsibilities: New security feature test design for Gateway Switches & Wireless Access Points. Design, build, and maintain testbed infrastructure, triage automated regression failures and provide failure analysis to certify software releases. Develop the test plans based on requirements & specifications and provide feedback from a testing perspective. Improve the test system and efficiency. Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of testing network products. Basic knowledge of Radius, VLAN technologies, 802.1x, Captive portal. Good understanding of networking architecture such as Routing/Switching (OSPF / BGP /IS-IS), IP, TCP/UDP, and application layers such as HTTP, SNMP, etc. Familiar with 802.11 wireless protocols. Strong ability to write quality code (automation test code) . Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams. Additional Skills (Preferred): Experienced with Cloud performance testing is a plus. Experienced with L3 switch or Gateway test is a strong plus. Experience with a large-scale enterprise network deployment is a plus. • Total 10+ years of Quality Assurance managing end to end testing engagements • Own quality and its outcomes • oversee the entire quality assurance process and recommend improvements • leverage best practices for process improvement, improving test coverage, and time to market • Should have good communication and Analytical skills • Ensure completion of testing activities as per testing schedule, Manage all aspects of the quality assurance process while identifying and suggesting enhancements. • Provide functional testing status, metrics, reports to Test Manager • Identify Regression test cases and build Regression suite as required • Work with automation team to provide functional knowledge of business process flows
