Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Building Engineer and one building Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of our commercial high rise building. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, and electrical maintenance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. The Lead Building Engineer will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely while providing technical support and guidance to team members. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate maintenance activities for building facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and EMS, card access systems hydraulics, and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory management, and reporting. Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess system performance.. Ensuring timely response to maintenance requests while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop schematics for system upgrades or repairs. Train and mentor junior staff in building maintenance practices and safety procedures. Qualifications Proven experience as an Lead building engineer in high rise buildings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems,water source heat pump electrical maintenance, and hydraulics. Familiarity with programmable EMS controllers CMMS software is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience operating scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to convey technical information clearly to team members and customers. Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving in high-pressure situations. Previous military experience is a plus but not required. A commitment to safety protocols and best practices in all aspects of work.
