In this position, you'll take the lead on the roof work for each installation. What You’ll Be Doing Read and interpret solar plan-sets Install solar systems on a variety of roof types Lead the roof layout and complete roof penetrations Ensure racking is level and properly grounded Bend and run conduit on rooftops Handle basic electrical tasks on the roof (home runs, jumper wires, etc.) Install tilt kits and solar modules Represent Simply Solar with professionalism and positivity Who Are You You’re a driven, hands-on professional with strong installation skills and a bit of electrical know-how. Tired of working with rookies or grumpy old-timers? Want to actually enjoy your workday? We're looking for a solid solar installer to be the third member of our awesome 3-person crew. We're not looking for a brand-new greenhorn, and you don't need to be a journeyman electrician. We need someone in that sweet spot: you know your way around a roof, can bend conduit, and have been doing residential solar installs for at least 3 years. What you'll be doing: Working on residential rooftops all over San Francisco and the immediate area. Racking, running conduit, mounting panels, and doing clean work you can be proud of. Enjoying steady, full-time work (40+ hours/week is the norm) with a solid backlog of projects from Potrero Energy (https://potreroenergy.com/) What we need from you: 3+ years of hands-on solar installation experience. You know the process from start to finish. You MUST have your own reliable car to get to job sites. No exceptions! You live within a 60-minute commute of San Francisco (we start early, and nobody likes sitting on the Bay Bridge for an hour). A good attitude. Unique Millwork Cabinetry and Countertops is seeking a skilled individual(s) with knowledge in cabinet building and solid surface fabrication, with a motivation to produce quickly and with quality. We are located in Arvada at 52nd and Marshall. This shop has been around for over 30 years and under new management for the last 4 years. We continue to grow the business and need additional personnel to meet the demands. This is a full-time position. We have a separate installation crew and a majority of the work will be in the shop. Requirements: Your own transportation and hand/power/pneumatic tools are required as in field installation may be required at times. Millwork saws, edge-bander and glue applicators are supplied by the shop for use in the shop. We do a multitude of different projects to include laminate counters, cabinet building and installation, solid surface fabrication and installation, various millwork fabrication and installation for low-income housing complexes, private residential, multi-family complexes and commercial applications. We are branching out into new builds as well. Job Duties will include but not limited to: -Fabrication of solid surface -New cabinet builds and cabinet rebuilds -Cabinet door/drawer/drawer fronts/faux front fabrication -Laminate countertop fabrication. -Shop cleanliness and organization Starting pay will be $26-$29 an hour depending on knowledge/skill. Benefit options, holiday paid days and sick leave accrual.
