Experienced Lead Carpenter – Residential Construction Bellingham, WA – Full Time Now accepting applications for the position of Experienced Lead Carpenter. We are a small, tight-knit design-build company in Bellingham with fewer than 30 employees. This role is hands-on and essential to delivering high-quality residential projects. What the Job Looks Like: • Lead and perform skilled carpentry work on residential projects from framing to finish. • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in execution. • Work alongside and direct crew members and subcontractors on-site. • Ensure job site safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to schedule. • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to resolve issues as they arise. What We’re Looking For: • You are goal oriented, good natured, and an excellent communicator. • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience in a leadership role. • Strong skills in framing, window and door installation, siding, trim, decks, railings, general carpentry, and high end finish work. • You are organized and effective, and able to manage a job site as a team leader. • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and craftsmanship. • Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment. • Must be able to perform physical duties routinely found on a construction site. • Reliable, confident, and comfortable communicating with clients and teammates. • Lives within 30 minutes of Bellingham, WA.
