This includes the inspection of various raw materials and final kit assemblies. Finding success in this role requires a general understanding of inspection AQLs, Good Documentation Practices, Clean Room etiquette, working in ISO/FDA regulated environments, following procedures, and how the inspection of raw materials feeds into the manufacturing of a final product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ● Completion of assigned typical visual inspections, paperwork checks, and final kit inspections with minimal aid. ● Follow all applicable procedures and policies while performing work Duties. ● Document all inspection results using proper GDP. ● Complete all required company, QMS, and departmental training in a timely manner. ● Understand all the quality logs the department maintains. ● Understand all aspects of the QMS that are relevant to the role and tasks performed. ● Perform all tasks with Roche’s company culture, quality policy, and operating policies in mind. ● Maintain and support effective interdepartmental and intradepartmental communications. ● Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and 25 pounds on a regular basis. ● Push up to 600 pounds, with assistance, occasionally and 300pounds regularly. ● Work weekday and weekend overtime hours as required to meet production demands of the team. ● Be an active participant in safety and follow all procedures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and moving materials up to 35lbs (during line clearance and up to 50% of time spend in the dry room. Up to 50-80% of time at lab bench or desk, walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time are routine to accomplish tasks in this role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position may require use of Personal Protective Equipment as posted. EXPERIENCE ● Required: HS diploma + 1 years of lab work ● PC navigation ● Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite products. ● Inspections of mechanical, electrical, and optical components/assemblies. ● Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications. ● Understanding and using procedures and batch records.
