




Diesel Mechanic Our Fleet Maintenance Team is growing! About the position: The diesel mechanic position is a full time, hourly compensated position. The company takes enormous pride in the care, maintenance and appearance of our fleet. We are looking for a highly skilled heavy equipment, diesel mechanic that will primarily work out of our shop but will also need to perform occasional road-calls in the company's service truck. Experience and Skill Requirements: • Hydraulic Systems. • 12v / 24v Electrical. • Comprehensive Diesel and Gas Engine Knowledge. • Air systems. • Welding & fabrication. • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to swiftly identify problems and repair needed. • Capable of reading and interpreting equipment manuals and schematics. • Must have own tools for the position. • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and hosits necessary to complete your duties. • Clean and organized. • General proficiency with computers. • Valid Driver’s License and DOT Medical Card required. CDL license is preferred but not required. • Capacity to perform high physical exertion functions such as prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, working in awkward positions, and lifting heavy objects. • Willingness to work in a wide array of weather and environment conditions. • Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed. • We are a Boston snow contractor.
