Looking for a contracted tech (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday) with the opportunity to become a full-time employee to assist in a large-scale remodel project and assist with several others in the general Larchmont/Hollywood/West Hollywood and surrounding area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: General Handy Work (must have your own tools): • Drywall removal, reinstallation, patching, sanding and painting • Painting as needed • Door and window screen repairs and re-installation • Home Depot runs (you’ll have them call Property Manager for the purchase) • Key copying • General Electrical • General Plumbing • Cleaning including light fixtures, unit AC filters • Property Renovations Experience with electrical wiring is a plus The pay is $25 per hour to be paid every other Friday. Requirements: • Must be honest, reliable, trustworthy, experienced and hard-working. We will not consider anyone who does not have at least 2-3 years of the above experience. General Contractors will not be considered. • Must be resident of Los Angeles • Must have a reliable vehicle, preferably a truck or van. • Must have experience with plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs including mudding. • Must be communicative and responsive. Signature Plastering has been operating in southern California for over 20yrs providing custom stucco finishes to our clients. We are a high-end plastering Contractor in search of new individuals and small groups to join our team and help us bring quality workmanship to the community we serve. Qualifications - Ability to use basic hand and trade tools. - Ability to listen and follow instructions. - Must be physically able to handle the rigors of the job. - Minimum 2-years' experience in plastering. - Valid driver's license. - Reliable transportation to and from work. - Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Plaster Technicians will also work on interior and exterior stucco repairs on commercial and residential jobs, and their responsibilities are the following: mix scratch coat in the correct consistency and apply, mix brown coat to correct consistency and apply, mix stucco cement with color packs to apply custom color finishes using machine gun application or hand trowel technique. Also, will assist in setup of scaffolding on jobsite on a job-to-job basis. This job requires a lot of physical exertion. Examples: heavy lifting, standing on ladders and scaffolding while working, mixing materials using hand tools or mixer. We are looking for individuals with good communication skills and leadership. Someone who has good attention to detail, is capable of working with others, and with help us delivery excellent service to our client's satisfaction. Driver's license is required as from time to time you may be asked to pick up materials or simply to drive a company vehicle to the jobsite.
