Responsibilities  Ability to safely and efficiently operate company-owned and rented equipment  Assist with other site duties as needed including shoveling and raking as needed  Manage dust control by watering required areas  Sweep sidewalks and pavement / concrete areas near the construction entrance daily  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site  Fuel, grease, clean, and check fluids in machinery daily  Clean windows, sweep interior, and remove trash daily from machinery  Monitor and report machine hours, malfunctions, and maintenance needs  Safely flag & direct trucks and equipment entering or exiting the job site  Adhere to ALL safety protocols and report any hazards immediately  Ensure tench safety by installing appropriate shoring systems  Set up laser-checking elevations & grades on-site  Read interpret plans, elevations, and specifications  Handle and unload materials, ensuring proper storage and organization  Cut, measure, and bevel pipe as directed  Traffic control set up and tear down  Clock in & out of tasks daily with notes of completed tasks for the day with pictures  Maintain clear communication with site crew and office at all times  Other duties to be assigned as needed Qualifications  Accountability: Show up on time and complete tasks in a timely manner.  Quality: Take pride in your work each day. Normal business week hours are preferred. Current project requires accessing an attic space with low pitched roof (about 4 feet). The roof has existing mechanical ventilation, but is fairly tight for me to access. (I am 6ft 1” tall, and 270 pounds with a bad back, and short periods of vertigo when working in ‘reach’ areas.) Small amount of work under house (typical 18-24” crawl space.) Moderate lifting, less than 70 pounds (I can help with this type of stuff.) Current Projects: Installing 8” oven ventilation from finished roof to finished ceiling. (Stub out to interior) Removing Sheetrock from backside of kitchen wall, and installing blocking for mounting oven vent hood on finished (level 5) wall. Repair and refinish removed Sheetrock patch. Install ductwork from vent hood to ceiling vent stub out. Install custom stainless steel vent hood cover over duct work. Go through attic and crawl space and seal all openings. Check condition of insulation (have new Rock Wool insulation that has been moved around for installation of lights and ventilation. (In garage) Install conduit for easy wiring from attic to sub-panel. Includes installing access panel, installing new Sheetrock, tape and mud finishing. (About 20 square feet) Install Sheetrock in prior work location for attic access (some wall some ceiling. Two section for a total of 30 square feet.) Budget and time depending, installing catwalk in attic. (Have several 24x48” 1.5 inch plywood panels.)
