Duties Assess and investigate insurance claims to determine validity and coverage. Utilize auto estimating tools to evaluate damages and losses accurately. Communicate with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties to gather necessary information. Negotiate settlements with claimants while adhering to company policies and legal standards. Maintain detailed records of claims activities, decisions, and communications. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with workers' compensation law. Analyze data related to claims for trends in fraud prevention and detection. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Skills Strong understanding of fraud prevention and detection techniques. Proficient in auto estimating processes and tools. Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate fair settlements. Exceptional customer service abilities to enhance client satisfaction. Strong analytical skills for evaluating claims data effectively. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously. Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
