Ruan is hiring Class A CDL delivery drivers based in El Paso, TX, to haul bread in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer, Flowers. Drivers use hand trucks to unload bread on this account. Weekly pay averages around $1,000 - $1,200 per week, and drivers are paid $0.30 cents per mile for solo runs and $0.17 to $0.20 cents per mile for team runs. Drivers are also paid for drop and hook, loading and unloading, tour of duty, and detention. Schedule Enjoy being home daily with 2-3 days off during the week. We are looking for drivers who are flexible doing delivery driving, yard work, and covering for drivers on PTO. Start times vary between 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. with shifts lasting 10-12 hours per shift. Delivery drivers make 2-3 deliveries per day to depots in Texas and New Mexico either as solo or team drivers depending on the route. Equipment Drive late-model equipment! Shipping & Receiving Operations Manage daily shipping volumes averaging 4 local trucks and 2–5 common carrier loads (53’ trailers, box trucks, or live loads). Coordinate both millworks put away, pulling, and loading to align with production and shipping schedules. Verify, sign off, and take full accountability for all outbound loads—ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for shipment. Confirm that all materials are labeled correctly, damage-free, and meet customer specifications before leaving the facility. Cross-Department Collaboration Partner with Production, QC, and Warehouse teams to resolve material discrepancies before shipment. Maintain alignment with company chain-of-custody and tracking systems to support material accuracy and traceability. Safety & Compliance Enforce strict compliance with company SOPs for safety, quality, and documentation. Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock environment. Act as a role model for proper material handling and safety practices. Qualifications Required Bilingual: English/Spanish proficiency (verbal and written). 3+ years of leadership experience in dock, warehouse, or shipping/receiving within manufacturing, millwork, or distribution. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics (local deliveries and common carrier freight). Proven ability to manage a team, delegate effectively, and enforce accountability. High attention to detail with verification, labeling, and material handling. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, production-driven environment. Preferred Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience with Agility ERP (a plus).
