We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with hand tools. The Carpenter will work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. We are a well established and highly regarded carpentry contractor servicing builders and remodeling contractors across the Metro for over 50 years. Framing and finishing new construction is 20% of our business. The rest is high-end remodeling. We do everything from new kitchens to new windows, to a complete remodel of office buildings or restaurants to a complete overhaul of a home, like tearing off the roof, adding a second story and replacing the roof. We do about 700 high-end remodel jobs a year. I would like to add 1-2 additional members to my framing crew, we have lots of work on the schedule and will stay busy through the winter. The ideal candidate has between 2-5 years experience in new construction or remodel framing. Must be able to show up on time with the necessary basic hand tools and tool bags, must have a good attitude and a willingness to learn as most of the work we do is not just common production framing. We also frame plenty of roofs so must be able to work comfortably at heights. Starting wage is between $22-$35 depending on experience. We typically work Mon-Fri 7:00-4:30. The Maintenance Tech II should have at least 2 years of Building Maintenance experience !!! The MT2 is required to have a special boilers license. The MT2 is also required to have 2 years of Apartment Maintenance, and at least 2 year of Commercial Maintenance. Repairs water lines, repairs and maintains, sidewalks, parking lots, striping; services and repairs of Tru-Serves equipment and other property of Tru-serves, other buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Empties trash containers and removes trash from sites or other locations assigned, landscaped areas and other Tru-Serve properties; and performs custodial work as assigned. Maintains logs and records of work performed and materials and equipment used. Maintains and owns a variety of hand and power tools ensuing they are in safe and efficient working order. Inventories and requests equipment and supplies. Responds to call-outs and emergencies assigned with On-Call and Daily emergencies, work orders or any other job duties assigned. MT2 may instruct and guide temporary, work alternative and seasonal employees and MTI's in basic work procedures and safe working practices.
