Job Summary: Cannabis Production Technicians are directly involved in manufacturing our products from the initial stages to final sale-ready units that will be distributed to dispensaries throughout the state and ultimately into the hands of our customers who enjoy our top-of-the-line branded products. Duties/Responsibilities: Manipulating flower and oil. Weighing, stuffing, and rolling products. Labeling, stickering, and packaging finished goods. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law. Ability to work well with others and independently. Ability to learn and adapt to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis. Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment to meet goals without sacrificing quality. Ability to maintain a high standard of health and hygiene as required by OSHA. Ability to follow instructions and be receptive to feedback/coaching from the management team to maintain product quality. Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED required. 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing position. 1+ years of experience in manufacturing consumable goods is preferred. Must have working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of standing or sitting for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must have full use of arms and fingers for fine manipulation of cannabis. Must be capable of repetitive motions using hands and arms while working with cannabis. Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently package quality products in a manner that is consistent with HP Hood LLC standards. Shift: 8am to 4.30pm (Wednesday and Sunday off) Start pay rate: $22.74/hr. Essential Functions: Perform all tasks and functions related to operating and cleaning filling equipment. Operate and clean multiple high speed filling machines in a sanitary, efficient, and effective manner. Complete paperwork as per government regulations and HP Hood requirements. Safely operate all assigned equipment following JHA requirements. Consistently meet production quotas. Comply with all policies and guidelines outlined for production and sanitation processes. Participate in cross-training efforts to maximize departmental efficiency. Work in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers. General: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program. Must be able to adapt to changing production schedules as necessary. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Available for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices.” Actively participate in special teams representing the production department. Maintain a clean & safe work environment. Responsibilities: Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles. Pack goods for shipment in accordance with company standards. Create BOL's. Ensure that all shipments are properly labeled and documented. Maintain records of shipments, including weight, size, and destination. Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness.
