Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team as a Forensic Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to see the real-world impact of their engineering expertise. You’ll inspect structures, identify risks, and develop practical repair recommendations — all while helping protect homes and businesses throughout LA.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site forensic evaluations of structures, foundations, and soils
• Perform detailed inspections of subfloor and structural components
• Identify issues, analyze damage, and recommend repair solutions
• Write clear and professional engineering reports
• Communicate findings to clients, internal project managers, and leadership
• Stay current on applicable codes and standards (CBC, IBC, AISC, ACI, etc.)

Requirements:
• Professional Engineer license in California (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, including fieldwork
• Experience with forensic evaluations and field troubleshooting
• Knowledge of structural codes and repair best practices
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
