JOB SUMMARY: The Apartment Maintenance Porter is responsible for providing excellent resident service through daily maintenance projects as assigned by the direct supervisor. Punctuality, professionalism, and strong customer-service skills are also needed to support the initiatives of this position. This person must have a car to travel between properties within a 3-mile radius ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establish working relationships with supervisors (PM or Maintenance), residents, and vendors. 2. Maintain building lighting, including light fixture and bulbs. 3. Maintain the maintenance shops in a clean and orderly fashion 4. Meet vendors and provide apartment access 5. Pick up materials at Home Depot as directed by your supervisor. Customer Service/Safety: 1. Adhere to safety protocols when completing maintenance tickets to ensure the safety of yourself and residents. 2. Provides timely communication maintenance concerns or trouble tickets with Property Manager Minimum Experience/Training Education: • High School diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between assigned locations • Two years of relevant experience preferred ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •. Dependable, on-time, and good time management skills • General maintenance engineer experience. • Reliable Vehicle. • Legal to work in the United States. SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position. We are a property management company with properties in the Vancouver/Camas area. We are looking for an entry level cleaning person. You will be responsible for cleaning apartments that tenants have moved out of and preparing them for the new tenants. Also, duties will include light trash pick up around our apartment complexes and cleaning the laundry rooms of our complexes. The typical work schedule is M-F 8am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Depending on the demand for our rental units there may be an occasional need to clean a unit on a weekend. This is situational. We need someone who is reliable and flexible.
