Local busy Bonita Springs frame shop/gallery is looking for a part time framer. Our doors have been open for 30 years delivering professionally framed pieces to our community. We’re looking for a creative, capable individual who will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, skilled craftsmanship and help grow the business. MUST HAVES: Ability to work independently Excellent communication skills with ability to educate and sell Proactive with a sense of ownership and pride in their job Organization and prioritization skills Excellent manual dexterity General math and measurements knowledge General computer skills including but not limited to word, excel NICE TO HAVES (we can train the right candidate): Knowledge of custom framing design, ability to measure art and frame components professionally including knowledge of appropriate archival materials and how/when to use them. Knowledge of Wizard mat cutter software and Lifesaver estimating tool Essential Duties: Consult, design and sell custom framing packages for prints, fabric pieces, and memorabilia Order and receive materials Cut and assemble frames, glass and other materials as needed for each project using saws, cutters, drills and other electrical and mechanical tools. Assist in social media and other marketing efforts as needed to help grow the business Job specific requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds while using the appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules Prolonged walking, standing Minimal travel in the local area as needed, must have reliable transportation Minimum High School graduate Pay rate – W2 position, $16-$20 depending on experience, additional sales bonus available
