We're Hiring: Trade Sales Representative – East Coast Territory Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals? We're looking for a dynamic Trade Sales Representative to manage and grow our trade accounts east of the Mississippi. This high-impact role gives you fresh daily leads and access to a robust database of 7,000+ trade professionals – including architects, interior designers, landscape architects, specifiers, and purchasing agents. We sell top-quality outdoor furniture and ship to all 48 states. We ship over 30-40 orders daily and work with the leading shipping companies in Southern California and nationwide. We sell to the public and to the high-end Interior Design industry, and we work with the top interior designers nationwide. We are looking for sales-focused, results-oriented individuals who are highly productive and want to add value to our exciting organization! Position Purpose Summary Serves to contribute to the organization's success by effectively using sales techniques and processes to create and secure customer relationships. Essential Functions/Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Ensures assigned tasks are completed on time • Serves as a brand ambassador, demonstrating enthusiasm and passion for our quality products • Is not afraid to prospect and hustle for new business • Knows how to work a warm lead and follow through • Follows company policies and procedures • Thrives on building lasting trade relationships • Maintains a safe working environment consistent with organization standards and local, state, and federal regulations • Endeavors appropriate follow-up via telephone and email with customers and potential customers. • Knowledgeable, aggressive, and hungry to succeed • Works well in a team-focused environment • Utilizes NetSuite to locate merchandise and/or find suitable alternatives. • Stays updated on new items, customer service guidelines, and company policies. • Seeks and pursues opportunities to improve the performance of self and/or others • Caters the sales experience to each potential customer's individual needs and preferences by providing unique, specific, and honest advice. • Performs other related activities as assigned. Qualifications and Educational Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). • 1+ years sales experience. • Retail experience, including POS systems. • Proficiency in NetSuite & Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups in English. HOURS / COMPENSATION • 40-hour work week • 8-hour day shift Monday–Friday • Job Type: Full-time • Pay: $18 - $22.00 Per Hour + uncapped commission Benefits • Health Coverage: The company provides HMO options to its employees through Kaiser Permanente, covering 75% of the cost.
