Greetings! We are four people mostly in our thirties seeking to fill a bedroom in our five-bedroom house. The room is on the first floor. It is 10 by 12 feet. It has large eastern facing windows, high ceilings and a closet. It rents for $850 per month and will be available starting July 1. Images forthcoming, and if the ad is up, the room is available. Cat people strongly encouraged to apply. We take care of 3 indoor/outdoor street kitties who split their time between our house, the alley behind it, and (probably) other adopted feeders. They behave themselves at home, and are goblins on the streets. Their papers are somewhat in order. You would not be expected to help take care of them, of course, but they're a big + if you like cats. We split utilities (ebmud, pge, internet,) and house supplies. The house has 1.5 bathrooms and laundry on-site. There is no dedicated parking, but street parking is generally available. We have a covered porch where we like to hang out and backyard with an uncultivated garden. We're a 8-13 minute walk from MacArthur BART. The home environment is often quiet with people working out of the house or in the house, in their room or in common areas. At mealtimes there's more bustle and chit chat. We occasionally have friends over for dinner and we like to host gatherings in the summer. We are musicians/artists. We love all types of people- all shapes, ages, orientations and persuasions are welcome. Above all we're looking for someone who is considerate in communal living. Do you wipe down the bathroom sink after you've used it? Do you keep personal items out of common areas? These are A+ gold stars, in our book. We'll ask for your first and last month's rent and a security deposit.
