Now Hiring: Fine Art Teacher (Part-Time or Full-Time) 📍 Manhattan Beach | Est. 2011 Alyce’s Art Studio has been proudly serving the South Bay since 2011, offering fine art drawing and painting classes for children and teens. We believe in the power of art to transform, heal, inspire, and connect—and we’re looking for a passionate teacher who shares that vision. Our team is close-knit and dedicated, with most staff members having been with us for 3 to 13 years. If you're looking to grow in a supportive and inspiring environment, we’d love to meet you. We’re looking for someone who is: -Energetic, creative, and positive -Inspired by watching students grow and thrive -Skilled in traditional fine art techniques -Humble enough to know that no task is too small, and confident enough to take the lead -Excited to contribute to a meaningful art community Responsibilities: 🎨 Lead engaging fine art classes for children and teens (drawing, watercolor, acrylic, and more). 1:6 teacher student ratio 🧼 Assist with studio upkeep and organization 👋 Communicate with parents before and after class (scheduling, tuition, etc.) 🎉 Help run weekend events and birthday parties (occasional Saturdays/Sundays) 🎂 Co-lead occasional Sunday birthday parties with another team member Requirements: -Working towards or holding a degree in Art -Strong skills in realistic drawing and painting -Advanced knowledge of traditional techniques (all drawing media, watercolor, acrylic, oil) -Confident teaching landscape, still life, figure drawing, and more -Excellent communication and customer service skills -Able to teach using positive reinforcement -Energetic, upbeat, and professional teaching style -Quick learner and team player, able to follow our teaching methods -Ability to work independently and responsibly -Commute of less than 20 minutes strongly preferred -Reliable transportation -Must be able to pass a background check Schedule & Training: -Start date: Immediately -Training period: 2–4 weeks Most classes are held: Monday–Friday: 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm Saturdays: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Part-time and full-time roles available Compensation: $19 for first 30 days training. $20- $22 first year. 24 hours paid sick leave. Job Overview Brushes Art Studio 30 is a new art facility in Crown Point, just off of US 30 and Pine Island Drive. We are an extension of mobile paint party company, Brushes Paint and Sip Events of Northwest Indiana. We just opened and are excited to announce we are expanding our team. We are seeking an artist proficient in painting with acrylic paint on canvas. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional talent in both painting and instructing a group of people. If you are not shy and feel comfortable speaking in front of a group of people, we want to meet you. This is a 1099 contractor position and pays $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. You will be scheduled based on your availability and desired workload. Four to ten hours per week is average. 10 to 20 hours per week is a good possibility. You will be paid to shadow our other artists as part of your training.
