SouthLand Signs is hiring! We are looking for an experienced Graphic Sign Designer/Printing Production specialist to add to our growing team! LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER Lead graphic sign designer must have the following experience - Designing, creating, drafting: Artwork for clients Permit drawings for permit applications and submissions File Creation for Accubender and CNC Router Create Files for printing and vinyl plotting Designer must have experience in the signage industry. Must have knowledge about types of materials, drill bit thicknesses, can read a tape measure, and can design with dimensions. This is NOT an entry level position. Candidates must have experience creating signage artwork, permit drawings, and file creation for channel letter benders and CNC routers. Required Skills: Proficient in art creation programs: CorelDraw Adobe Illustrator Photoshop Candidates Must have: Active Drivers License Clean Driving Record Reliable Transportation NO Drug use allowed Preferred not required: Bilingual - English required, Spanish is preferred General Job Description: Graphic designer will create artwork and mockups for client approval. Discuss edits and/or changes to artwork directly with customer, and following clients directions. Create Permit drawings for permit submissions (storefronts, dimensions, fabrication and installation methods) Create files for Accubender channel letter bender Use Enroute or VcarvePro to create routing files for CNC router with correct depths, drill bit sizes, direction of feed rate etc. Create files for Vinyl Plotter Maintenance for Digital Printers, Vinyl Plotters, and company computers Inventory of substrates, vinyl materials, inks and all aspects relating to printing and plotting Day to Day Job Description: Create artwork in coordination with sales team and clients. Create files for Vinyl plotting Create files for Ace+ Accubender channel letter machine Create files for APEX 1R CNC Routing Table Discuss daily tasks required for completion with production manager Keep inventory and stock of vinyl materials, substrates, and inks for Printers Salary: Base pay starting $25/hr Full time position, 40 hours per week W-2 1 week paid vacation Paid Holidays Employee Schedule: Employee work hours: Monday - Thursday 7 am - 6 pm In person office position, no remote work This position is for a seasoned, experienced, and competent graphic designer/production specialist who can work under minimal supervision. Job Overview Brushes Art Studio 30 is a new art facility in Crown Point, just off of US 30 and Pine Island Drive. We are an extension of mobile paint party company, Brushes Paint and Sip Events of Northwest Indiana. We just opened and are excited to announce we are expanding our team. We are seeking an artist proficient in painting with acrylic paint on canvas. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional talent in both painting and instructing a group of people. If you are not shy and feel comfortable speaking in front of a group of people, we want to meet you. This is a 1099 contractor position and pays $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. You will be scheduled based on your availability and desired workload. Four to ten hours per week is average. 10 to 20 hours per week is a good possibility. You will be paid to shadow our other artists as part of your training.
