Hopvine Pub is your neighborhood Capitol Hill Pub serving amazing local beers and great food. We put freshness first by making everything small batch. Ideal candidates can: 1. rock it when it s slow or busy 2. follow directions 3. get everything done without supervision 4. follow proper food handling rules 5. pick up shifts as needed 6. help on the floor and behind bar as needed. We are looking for a happy, positive, people-oriented person to join our team! Everyone is cross-trained to bartend to help out where needed when it s busy. We are small and do many things in nontraditional ways (like cooking everything in a pizza oven) that we're more like a quirky cafe than a restaurant or bar. Must be: 21 or older, able to lift 50lbs, able to stand for up to 10 hours a day, able to climb ladders and be comfortable in small spaces with close proximity to others. Entry level kitchen shifts start at $20.76 plus $15-$20/hour in tips plus PTO. Staff food/drink discount. Hours: 20 hours/week. Current shift openings are Sunday and Tuesday 12-10pm. These days are non-negotiable. Please be available for occasional coverage for other employees. Successful completion of probationary period opens options for more hours and responsibilities including making specials and desserts.
