The Archer Ale House is looking for a new Late Night Cook to join our team! We promote a tight-nit, energetic and friendly environment with an emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. We have a scratch kitchen and take real pride in our food. We don't just reheat premade food, in our kitchen we actually cook, so there are many opportunities to learn. This position requires a candidate with prior BOH experience (>2 years). We need a part-time line cook, but for the right candidate with a willing attitude, there could be opportunity to earn additional shifts. We make our food from scratch and that requires additional skills that aren't taught in most kitchens. The right candidate will develop useful skills in our unique kitchen that will serve them well in the future. There is a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. Teamwork is part of this job. Every team member is expected to do any kitchen duty that may be required at any time. That includes washing dishes. Everyone who works in our kitchen does dishes. This position is Part-Time (~28-30 hours/week), yet it has the potential to develop into a full-time job for the right candidate. The initial shifts will be Tuesday from 3PM - 11:30PM, and then Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5PM - 12:30AM. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Energy Intake Specialist provides assistance and support to individuals applying for energy and utility assistance. This will be a full-time in-office position at 37.5 hours per week. The position will be located at our East County Resource Center in Concrete, WA. The Intake Specialist spend the first for 2-3 weeks training at our Mount Vernon campus and will be required to travel to Mount Vernon several times a month for trainings, gathering supplies, team building, etc. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: 1. Screen clients for service eligibility. 2. Schedule appointments and make clients reminder calls. 3. Gather documentation and complete applications with clients. 4. Respond to inquiries regarding energy program. 5. Maintain client information in state and agency databases. 6. Make referrals to other internal and local resources as needed. 7. Provide basic home energy weatherization and conservation education. 8. Cooperate with Community Action staff and other community resources in assisting clients with energy emergencies. 9. Assist in resolving client complaints and disputes 10. Participate in program outreach events as assigned by management. 11. Participate in agency and team meetings and trainings as required. 12. Other duties assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Education & Experience: -High School Diploma or GED/HSE minimum required. -Basic clerical skills (filing, math, calculator, data entry, legible writing) required. -Previous customer service experience preferred. Or a combination of education/experience meeting required job qualifications. License(s) & Certification(s): -Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance required for work related travel. -First Aid & CPR Certified.
