Meet Honey! This pretty girl is 3 years old and the sweetest soul; she is a love bug who just wants to be around her human. She surrendered to a shelter due to her previous owners getting evicted :( Honey is very smart. She is house broken, knows some basic commands and is eager to please her person, as well as very food motivated making her easy to train. She can be playful at times but mostly she just want to chill at home with her people. She is mostly good on a leash although she does have a high prey drive especially when she sees squirrels or cats. She gets very excited when she sees other dogs on a leash. However, Honey is highly redirectable and listens very well. But she will need a patient person to support her in redirecting her energy. She loves to play fetch and will bring the toy right to your feet and wait for you to the throw it again, she is just such a good girl! She apprehensive initially of strangers but with proper and calm introductions she warms up quickly. Honey can be left alone in the house no problem. She has had no accidents and has never shown destructive behaviors when left alone. Honey’s foster mom works from home and says that Honey lays on her bed quietly during a workday! The most important to note that is that Honey LOVES belly scratches! This sweet girl is confident, obedient, smart, silly and ready to give all of her love to her forever home.
