Diamond in the rough! Brand New modern Neo Retro build 2001 Cannondale r500 with FULL Shimano 105 r7000 11 speed mechanical groupset. All components were purchased new or like new. All bolts torqued to spec. Here's the build: -2001 Cannondale r500 CAAD frame (aluminum) with carbon fiber fork size L (fits 5'10"-6'2"). -FULL Brand New Shimano r7000 11speed mechanical groupset (shifters, front and rear (GS) derailleurs, rim brake calipers, crank 50-34, 175mm) tuned perfectly shifts smooth and crisp with Shimano Opti-Slick shift cables and housing and SLR brake cables and housing. -Brand New SwishTi Ultralight chain with hollow pins and plates (alleged to be the lightest chain in the world). -Fizik Cyrano 7075 lightweight ERGO Aluminum drop bar wrapped in Fizik Classic Bar tape. -Cannondale THREE stem (110mm). -Cane Creek Chrome Headset with titanium steerer tube bolt and Brand New Cane Creek Black Oxide Cartridge Bearing - 36 x 45 Degree - 41mm - HSS20130K with Carbon Fiber Top Cap. -RYET Carbon Fiber UnoX Saddle on Bontrager Carbon Fiber seatpost (super light and comfortable) -Brand New HUNT Race Aero Wide Alloy Wheelset (1496 grams) wrapped in Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x25c clinchers with Pirelli Superlight TPU tubes (made in Italy) with ultralight HUNT QR skewers. -BBR60 (Ultegra) bottom bracket -Brand New Ultegra CS-R8000 11-30 cassette. -Sold without pedals or bottle cage, but I can include genuine Shimano Ultegra R8000 SPD-SL pedals for $100 and Cateye Bottle Cage for $10. The bike is basically a butter build with tones of the newer CAAD 12. It's the bike that Cannondale DIDN'T build so I built it. Up until the most recent CAAD13 di2 where they finally got it right and built a full 105 bike, Cannondale would always use their subpar Cannondale One crank with FSA chainrings and creaky BB30. This build uses the genuine FC-R7000 crank to complete the build with a quiet and smooth BBR60 bottom bracket. I put my heart and soul into this build, and it shows. Comes in at just over 17lbs without pedals and is super smooth. Fast on the flats and a great climber with that 11-30 Ultegra Cassette and lightweight HUNT wheelset.
