bartending position (Los Gatos)
Overview
We are looking for a professional, motivated, and team-oriented bartender to join our bar program. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating an organized, consistent, and high-quality beverage experience while maintaining the standards and values of the establishment.
Responsibilities
⢠Prepare and serve cocktails, classic drinks, and house specialties following established recipes and presentation standards.
⢠Maintain cleanliness, organization, and full setup of the bar before, during, and after each shift.
⢠Restock, rotate, and track inventory to ensure product freshness and availability.
⢠Follow all operational procedures (POS use, cash handling, 86 list, prep lists, etc.).
⢠Communicate effectively with barbacks, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
⢠Ensure responsible alcohol service and proper ID verification at all times.
⢠Participate in ongoing training to improve product knowledge, speed, and consistency.
⢠Represent the brand with professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork.
Qualifications
⢠Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume or craft cocktail bar preferred.
⢠Strong knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and mixology techniques.
⢠Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment.
⢠Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
⢠Must be 21+ and possess valid state alcohol service certification (or be willing to obtain it).
Schedule & Expectations
⢠Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
⢠Schedule may vary depending on business needs.
⢠Team members are expected to assist with setup, breakdown, and coverage when needed to maintain consistent operations
