Preparation: Prepare work areas by removing old equipment, clearing debris, and ensuring proper access for installation. Assembly: Assemble and position HVAC components, such as air handlers, condensers, furnaces, and thermostats, ensuring proper alignment and connections. Testing: Test installed systems for functionality, safety, and efficiency. Make adjustments as needed to optimize performance. Material Handling: Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials needed for HVAC projects. Keep work areas organized and clean. Tool Maintenance: Maintain and clean tools and equipment used in HVAC installations and repairs. Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed, including inventory levels, equipment serial numbers, and project details. Learning: Learn from experienced technicians and installers, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in HVAC systems and procedures. Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and team members, providing support as needed during projects. $15.00- $18.00 Requirements: High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent. 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field. Valid driver’s license. Understanding of principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. Working knowledge of boiler systems. (Preferred) Knowledge of balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols. Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays Ability to work in confined spaces. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
