We are a top-rated NYC-based moving company looking to add movers and mover/drivers to our team. Position Overview: You’ll work alongside experienced crew members to safely load, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or office items. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This is a job that rewards initiative, teamwork, flexibility, and common sense. Responsibilities: - Load and unload furniture and boxes safely and efficiently - Protect customer belongings using blankets, shrink wrap, cardboard, packing paper, and other materials - Assemble/disassemble furniture as needed - Maintain a clean, organized truck throughout the day - Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members - Follow all protocols and company policies - (For drivers) Operate company vehicles safely and follow all DOT regulations - Report any incidents, damage, or issues to the foreman or dispatcher Requirements: - Prior moving or furniture-handling experience preferred but not required - Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long hours - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Call-outs are not tolerated - Positive attitude and professional demeanor with customers - Must be available for early start times and flexible hours Applicants for the driver role must have a valid driver's license and be prepared to provide a clean driver's abstract. You must have experience driving 20-foot box trucks in NYC, and no accidents. The driver role requires not only driving, but also working as one of the movers.
