1950 International L130 pickup 1.5 ton Dually Original 220 Silver Diamond Strait 6 runs great. Still 6 volt positive ground vehicle. Will haul lots of weight. Will not go fast…. Top Speed about 55mph. I have owned the truck for about 20 years. Not original: Seats (from Land Rover, now has seat belts, Carb (two barrel installed, have original 1 barrel), points were removed, now electronic ignition. Rear bumper is from Chevy truck, signal markers are trailer lights. Rust: front grill panel has a lot of filler, it was rusted. Otherwise, I don’t know of much at all. I bought the truck in NJ, it is titled as 1954, when I inquired about that, DMV told me that this truck was originally in DOT road use, and back then, they didn’t get titled until they came out of service. Extras: Carbs, brake parts, 6 volt charger (only if you need it, it was my mother’s), repair manual. I just don’t use the truck and someone should. My closest friend died recently and I am working on/playing with his 1953 Chevy Pickup. The international just sat for 5 months, I charged the battery, poured some gas in the Carb, gave it one shot of ether, and it fired right up. I then drove it to my garage from the barn for a bath. Lights, turn signals, brakes, brake lights, interior light, gauges all work (fuel and temp are not calibrated good, but both work). I changed transmissions many years ago to an original International truck transmission, but one with Synchromesh gears. It has a 4.88 rear in it. I hope it goes to a good home.
