Education and Experience (required): • High school diploma or equivalent. • For Mechanic II, 4 years of previous experience is required. • For Mechanic III, 8 years of previous experience required {mentor and oversees team members) • Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment. • Good attention to detail and organizational skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Has own tools with a rolling toolbox and is able to work overtime and weekends. • Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures. Education and Experience (preferred): • Certificate in Automotive Technology or related. • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s). • State Mechanic Certification(s). • Valid driver’s license.
