You will be the first point of contact for our practice. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. About Client: Diagnosed with Parkinson’s and dementia, with history of stroke (left side affected) Major fall risk – Client may attempt to stand or walk without assistance. You must stay close by and provide supervision during all transfers and ambulation. Uses a foot/ankle brace for dropped foot Difficulty swallowing – all liquids are thickened. Urinary incontinence – assist with changing incontinence pads Needs bathing, dressing, and continence care support About 10–20% assistance required for transfers Walk-in shower with shower chair and grab bars installed throughout home Sit-to-stand machine available (not currently in use but may be needed) Additional Notes: The client’s wife emphasizes the need for an aide who is attentive, engaged, and proactive.
