1989 Lincoln Town Car - $4,900 (Heights)

Very decent car here. Lots of recent work. Runs and drives just like it should, with no rattles. Never modified. Great low stress classic or start of something more. The bad: -Rear windows don't work -Small ding on front fender and hood -Temp gauge not working, fuel gauge works but needle has slipped. Others work fine -General "5-footer" car. Very presentable driver but not going to win any trophies The GOOD: -Fuel Injected 5.0 that starts instantly and runs great. Engine was swapped with one that has about 80k miles. -Strong overdrive transmission -ALL NEW AC system, converted to R134a. Complicated and always broken auto-climate control is bypassed. Now just works on a simple switch -Both 8-way power seats work in all directions. Restored switches -Power mirrors work -New front brake calipers. -Rarely seen velour interior is in good shape with no rips. Dash is good as well. -BRAND NEW tires with 50 miles on them -Dual exhaust, not fancy but sounds good. -Power trunk release works -Original clock works. -Problematic emissions control junk has all been removed and capped off properly. No emissions inspections on cars this old. Has been a fun project. Now time for someone to enjoy it. On to the next one for me.
