1997 Mercury Mountaineer - $1,900 (Concord)

Not much of a looker but she runs great. 5.0L V8 engine, does not burn or leak oil. Mechanically solid. Odometer was not working before I bought it 5 years ago, but it was my second vehicle so not much mileage added. 2 new tires, fresh oil change and NC state inspection passed in March.
