The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual with a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of arboriculture and tree removal, tree pruning, and related rope and rigging skills. You should have a proven track record in: • Advanced Tree Climbing: Proficient in various climbing techniques, including SRT and DRT, and experienced in safely accessing trees for various tasks. • Tree Removal: Expert in technical and high-risk tree removals, including rigging and strategic felling in confined or complex spaces. • Tree Pruning: Knowledgeable in industry-standard pruning techniques (e.g., ANSI A300 standards) to improve tree health, structure, and aesthetics. • Equipment Operation: Skilled in operating and maintaining equipment like chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, mini-ski, excavator experience a plus. • Safety: Committed to following all safety protocols and procedures on the job site. Requirements • 3 years of professional experience as an arborist or tree climber. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Current arborist certifications (ISA Certified Arborist, etc.) are a plus, but not required. • Your own climbing gear and saws is preferred, but we can discuss options.
