Customer Service and Shipping Associate (Ferndale)

Berryville insurance agency seeks full time customer service/administrative assistant. The right person will be willing to become licensed agent for property and casualty insurance. Duties include answering the phone and directing calls, greeting walk-in customers, processing mail and payments, scanning documents, some bookkeeping (Quickbooks knowledge helpful but not required), and other related office duties. Office hours are Monday though Friday 8:30 AM to 5PM with 1hour paid lunch and at least eightpaid holidays. Ten paid days of sick and/or vacation days increasing to 15 days after second year. Candidate must have minimum high school diploma and be able to multi task as well as interact with people. Good communication skills are a necessity. Salary will be based on office experience and will be in the range of $38,000 to $40,000 or more if candidate has insurance experience. Please include resume with reply.

Employment Requirements & Clearances • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Pass a background clearance with the Department of Social Services (DSS) via Live Scan. • Register as a Home Care Aide with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). -If not registered, five hours of coursework is required to become a Home Care Aide. • Provide a clear TB test dated within the last 90 days. • Maintain a clean driving record and valid California Driver’s License. • Reliable transportation with current auto insurance is required.
