Description

As a Bookkeeper you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and payroll. This is a locally owned family business with over 40 years in the industry. Our office staff consists of 3 other people with a family vibe. Duties -Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable -Perform bank reconciliations -Prepare financial statements and reports including monthly, quartely, and annually -Process payroll and maintain employee records -File GET, and other tax forms monthly, and quartely -Assist with audits and budget preparations, collaborate with accountants to prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time Qualifications -Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word, Google email -Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles -Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries -Knowledge of corporate accounting practices. Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies -Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately. Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills -Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation

This role reviews POS, setup source of funds for residential Purchase of Services (POSs), process Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Rate Change; prepare cash receipts and other miscellaneous administrative functions in the Accounting unit.
