Requirements As an Accounts Payable Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive vendor experience and managing cash balances to promote growth in an exciting startup environment. This role is ideal for individuals who have a good understanding of AP policies and procedures and are eager to take ownership of the process from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Own all day-to-day Accounts Payable functions Manage vendor communication and maintain all vendor records Maintain oversight of the AP inbox and ensure timely processing of invoices Review and manage employee credit card expense reporting and reimbursements Manage cash balances across multiple banks and accounts Build and maintain relationships with banking partners Identify, recommend, and help implement AP-related internal controls Maintain annual 1099 tracking and reporting Work with Accountants and Controller to prepare journal entries and reconcile variances Assist Controller with projects as needed Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of experience in AP or other treasury role 1+ year of experience managing or leading teams Familiarity with fraud prevention and financial controls Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy High level of discretion in handling sensitive financial information Clear written and verbal communication skills Experience with Bill.com preferred, but not required Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Benefits Why Asteris Lending: Diverse and inclusive workplace, with a supportive and friendly team Company awards, recognitions, and community involvement opportunities Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts and more! 10 Company-paid holidays, and Paid-time Off Asteris Lending is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
