Room for rent, 2 stories 4 bed/2.5 bath home built in 1968 located in Jefferson. Private bath all utilities included + wireless internet, no cable. Room is not furnished. There are a lot of windows and hard wood floors. Must be CLEAN, quiet, employed and have your own transportation. NO drugs or heavy drinking, if you are getting out of a bad relationship, jail or a halfway house, this is probably not the ideal situation for you. I keep it as drama free as I can and do not want issues. House sits off road on 5 acres w/ a 1-acre pond and is very private and quiet. Due to the pond being spring fed and deep, it is not safe for small children. The property is gated so, there won’t be in and out traffic. I am a bit of a hippie; I grow a lot of my own food and have a small fruit orchard and chickens. I can a lot of my food, grow and dry most all my herbs and upcycle/recycle as much as possible. I am easy going and quiet, I hang out in my private space most of the time. Must like animals (I have cats & chickens), be easy going and CLEAN. I have three house rules- shoes off at the door (get yourself a pair of house shoes), bathroom is cleaned once a week (no exceptions, if I have to clean it, I will charge you 20$), no overnight guests (if you want to hang out go to their house). Currently no washer/dryer available. This is a good place for a grad student or for someone who works a lot and needs a quiet place. Outside parking no garage. 20 Minutes from Gainesville/Athens, 3 miles from I85/HWY 129. $600 month + $300 deposit, email for more info.
