Hello! We have a (soon to be unfurnished) room available in our beautiful 8 bedroom Los Altos home! We are a group of 8 humans aged 25-38, 1 cat, 1 small dog, numerous house plants, and various furry critters running around in our backyard. While that may sound like a lot, don't be alarmed! We are a diverse group of former academics, engineers, automotive specialists, finance, professional musicians, home health care, farming, philanthropy, and more. We like to do group get-togethers like house dinners, board game nights, rock climbing, bike rides, hikes, and movie nights. The house has several amenities including a basement turned into a home gym/ pool table hang out space/ movie theater; a huge backyard (with a lawn, a planter garden, a fire-pit, patio umbrella, and gas grill), a large kitchen with modern appliances, and two large living rooms. We're looking for people that can commit to staying for at least one year. The room is renting for $1,580/month + utilities, and is located on the first floor, with an updated bathroom shared with one other person. The room will be unfurnished. Utilities are typically around $100/month. The security deposit is 1 month of rent. You will get your security deposit back when you decide to end your lease. We are a short 10-15 min drive from Stanford, Downtown Mountain View, and Downtown Palo Alto. Only 5 min away from Downtown Los Altos! We are LGTBQ friendly! Room will be available October 1st.
