Vintage MIJ Aria Pro II Thor Sound Electric Guitar - Walnut - $289 (Athens GA)

For sale is a used Aria Pro II Thor Sound Electric Guitar in a gloss Walnut finish. Model - TS300. The seven-digit serial number on the neck plate suggests it was made in the 1980s. In 1981, the model TS-300 came out with the TS series itself discontinued in 1983. Made in the famous Matsumoku factory in Japan. Original Custom Body Patent No. 555710 on the headstock. This guitar is loaded with coolness! Made of SOLID wood with a nice 5 piece Maple body core with Nato body edges. Three ply Maple detachable neck with 2 wing pieces at the headstock end supporting a Rosewood fingerboard. Great build quality, even with a “simpler” bolt-on construction, the attention to details is spot on. Pickups are Aria Protomatic II humbuckers known for their high-output and solid single-coil response. Frets has some wear to them but nothing that shows up while playing.There are numerous small dings and areas of scratches. The bridge shows pitting and there's bit of rust here and there on some screw heads. The electronics function as they should. See photos.
