We are seeking a data-driven and creative Senior Retention Marketing Manager to lead our lifecycle and subscription marketing efforts. This role will own the full retention strategy across email and SMS (via Klaviyo), with a focus on driving revenue, increasing customer LTV, and optimizing subscription health. You’ll collaborate closely with growth, product, and creative teams to deliver personalized, high-impact campaigns that build loyalty in a health and wellness–focused brand. Responsibilities Lead retention strategy across Klaviyo email and SMS, including campaign management, segmentation, testing, and optimization. Build email and SMS marketing calendars, including concepting and providing copy and design notes for design resources. Build, maintain, and update email and SMS marketing flows. Own lifecycle and subscription flows, including onboarding, churn prevention, win-backs, replenishment, and cross-sell/upsell journeys. Partner directly with Recharge to manage subscription mechanics, dunning communications, and customer experience. Analyze retention performance and subscription health metrics; translate insights into actionable strategies that increase CLTV and reduce churn. Drive personalization and audience segmentation through advanced data strategies, ensuring campaigns resonate with diverse customer cohorts and using all available information at hand. Collaborate with app, data, and web partners to capture customer data to support segmentation and analytic efforts.  Maintain compliance with SMS/email best practices and privacy regulations. Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly within subscription and wellness e-commerce, to identify new retention opportunities. Requirements 4+ years hands-on experience with Klaviyo (both email and SMS). Proven track record working with Recharge directly. Strong data and analytical background: segmentation, cohort analysis, A/B testing, and reporting. Prior experience in subscription-heavy businesses, ideally within health and wellness. Strong project management skills with the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities. Creative problem-solver with a customer-first mindset.
