Cabinetry Painting Shop- Assistant wanted (emeryville)

We are seeking an assistant at our spray booth facility in Emeryville. We apply paint finishes in-shop to wood cabinetry, paneling, furniture, and decorative metalwork. Check out our website for more info about our company: https://www.colorfoliodesign.com/ Job Description: • Regular hours 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM (Monday through Friday). Plan to be on your feet throughout the work day. • Assist with moving, protecting, or packaging cabinetry, paneling, or furniture. • Hardware removal and reinstallation • Careful masking of cabinetry prior to it being sprayed • Prep cabinetry for painting (detailed sanding, caulking, filling defects) • General cleanup: keep tools, work areas, and benches clean. There is room for advancement for the right person. We are looking for someone who has some experience working for a painting company (automotive or house painting). Qualifications: • You must have legal work documents- The USA I-9 system for background checks are mandatory. • You must be able to read, write and speak English • You need to be capable of safely lifting 55 pounds (the weight of a five-gallon paint can) without restrictions. • We prefer that you live within a reasonable driving distance of our Emeryville location. We will consider a higher starting rate if you have more experience and good, current references. We offer Bi-weekly pay.
