About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Menifee, CA Details: In-Person Tutoring in Menifee, CA Schedule: 3x a week for 1.5 hours each Competitive hourly rate based on experience Ideal Candidate: Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (mild/moderate or equivalent) — required Fluent in both English and Spanish — strongly preferred Experience working with elementary students with ADHD and IEPs Strong understanding of reading comprehension strategies and foundational math instruction Patient, nurturing, and encouraging demeanor Female tutor — preferred by family Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized academic support in reading comprehension and math aligned with IEP goals Reinforce multiplication, fractions, and foundational math skills through hands-on, engaging methods Support comprehension through strategies such as questioning, summarizing, and visual aids Use redirection and gentle guidance to maintain focus during sessions Create a comfortable and encouraging environment, particularly in early sessions as the student builds trust Integrate the student’s interests (e.g., art, ballet, creativity) into lessons to increase engagement Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding progress and any challenges Why Tutor Me Education?
