Responsibilities Assist with the daily care and supervision of dogs in daycare and boarding facilities Provide a safe and clean environment by maintaining facility cleanliness and organization Administer basic first aid and monitor the health and behavior of all dogs Engage dogs in play and exercise to ensure physical and mental stimulation Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services and their dog's needs Implement feeding schedules and special dietary requirements as directed by owners Assist with record-keeping, including updating dog profiles and incident reports Requirements Passion for animals and a strong desire to work with dogs Previous experience in a daycare, boarding, or veterinary setting preferred Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pet owners and colleagues Capable of handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments responsibly Basic knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Benefits Starting pay at $10.00 per hour during probation, with potential increases post-probation. The Associate Director is responsible for parent programing on and off campus and executing volunteer projects for the Family Philanthropy Circle. Core Responsibilities: Establish personal relationships with an assigned pool of parents, to cultivate their support and solicit gifts of $100,000 to $5,000,0000. Build and advance strong relationships with current and past parents and grandparents of Middlebury that result in philanthropic contributions; serve as a resource, advocate, and spokesperson for development programs at Middlebury. Solicit an annual gift for the Parents’ Fund from each assigned prospect, either through a personal visit, collaboration with a volunteer, or through partnership with the Annual Giving program.
