Selling hard to find 1982 Vanagon GL Diesel 1.6L 4-speed manual engine with 102k miles with Giles Performance Fuel Injection pump installed. Timing belt broke and has a bent piston, need to replace or do engine rebuild, also needs new timing belt - have the belt just needs to be installed. Has been upgraded with the famous Giles Performance Fuel Injection Pump, pump and pump installation alone cost around $1200. Clean title, no rust, no rot! Asking $4800 or best offers. Exterior is in fair to good condition with no rust or rot, has some bondo work and the regular dings and marks for a vehicle from 1982. Color is Samos Beige over Agate Brown. Interior in good condition for its age with some wear and tearing in the fabric, minimal damage to the leather interior sections, original carpeting intact and in good condition as well with treatable staining. Custom work added to the interior including speaker system installed, needs a few tweaks but other than that radio works great. Custom-built middle console added to house subwoofer with additional storage space inside. Stain resistant floor carpeting installed over original with interior panels to match, light-blocking curtains with copper-piping curtain rods, storage bench with additional locker storage added - plan was to add another panel to fold out to convert into bed. Not pictured but included are the original rear seats (excellent condition) and dash accessories and paneling removed to work on it.
