Description

Job Title:** IT Associate Location: Office based or remote The IT Associate will provide technical support, assist in maintaining company systems and networks, and ensure the smooth operation of IT services. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting employees with IT needs, and helping implement technology solutions to improve business efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. * Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and related equipment. * Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access control. * Monitor and maintain system performance, backups, and security protocols. * Support the setup and maintenance of company email, collaboration tools, and cloud systems. * Assist with the rollout of new technologies, system updates, and IT projects. * Document IT processes, support requests, and solutions. * Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical problems. * Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. * Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 1–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role. Skills: * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. * Working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments. * Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls). * Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or Azure). * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. *Preferred Qualifications (Optional): * Experience with Active Directory or endpoint management tools. * Basic scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python). * IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, etc.).
