St. John Training Centre Saskatoon is proud to offer: Medical First Responder Level I (40 hour) & Medical First Responder Level II (80 hour) This is a very intense and thorough course that is often taken by those people who are typically the first to the scene such as police, fire fighters and other medical response teams such as in mines. Other individuals are welcome to take the course as well. Date of next course: MFR I – September 22 - 26, 2025 (pre-requisite for MFR II) MFR II – October 6 - 10, 2025 Deadline for registrations: June 2, 2025 Pre-requisite for this course is an OHS Standard First Aid/CPR C OR Intermediate first aid certificate current within the last year. You must also have your own BP cuff & stethoscope. Bites and Stings, Anatomy & Physiology, Behavioral Emergencies, Eye Injuries, Gastro-intestinal/Genito-Urinary Injuries, Multiple Casualty Management, Substance Abuse, Communications, Geriatric Emergencies, Emergency Childbirth, Pediatric Emergencies, Aquatic Emergencies, Ambulance Operation and Maintenance, Record Keeping, General Pharmacology and Dental Emergencies.
