Coordinate and schedule burials and cremation interments Maintain accurate records of burials, plot ownership, and cemetery maps Liaise with funeral homes, families, and contractors Oversee groundskeeping staff and vendors to ensure site cleanliness and safety Manage budgets, contracts, and cemetery revenue/expenses Respond to inquiries and provide sensitive customer service to grieving families Ensure compliance with relevant municipal, state, and federal regulations 👤 What We’re Looking For Proven experience in administrative or office management roles; cemetery or funeral services background a strong asset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Familiarity with recordkeeping software and cemetery management tools Compassionate, professional demeanor with a commitment to respectful service Valid driver's license may be required 📘 Preferred Qualifications Experience working with the public in emotionally sensitive contexts Knowledge of cemetery regulations and local/state legal requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cemetery database software
