Position Overview: Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Queens, NY. This role involves providing compassionate care to residents during evening shifts, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a collaborative healthcare environment. Why Join Us? Ability to work every other Saturday and Sunday is required Contract Duration: 3 months (potential extension based on performance and facility needs). Qualifications: Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA program. .Licensure/Certifications: Active New York CNA certification. Proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required). Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing home. Technical Skills: Proficiency in assisting with ADLs (activities of daily living), infection control, and vital sign monitoring. Soft Skills: Compassion, reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff. Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
