Trout Lily Market and Deli in Fairview is hiring! We're an independent natural food grocery store and deli focusing on healthy eco-friendly options. We'd like someone positive and conscientious to join our team as a deli prep assistant, cashier and to create grab and go options and baked goods for both Trout Lily Market and our sister store Round Earth Roasters. Food prep experience is a plus, but the new hire will ultimately be trained in all aspects of the store including the deli, grocery, front counter service and as a barista. Once fully trained and confident, closing solo the last hour or so will be required. Open availability is preferred with open weekends a requirement. Schedule would ideally be 2-3 shifts/week, 20-25 hours. Weekends required. No late nights or early mornings! The ideal candidate will be self motivated, responsible and a competent multitasker. A good attitude and reliable transportation are also necessities. Reliability is paramount. We're looking for a long term staff member, this is not a seasonal position. Food service or grocery experience is preferred but not required. We'll train the right person! We are looking for a highly personable and enthusiastic bakery assistant to assist us at our baked goods counter. Your duties will include selling our baked goods to customers, managing baked goods and ingredient inventories, decorating cookies and donuts, and taking control of the daily cleanup procedures at the bakery. Previous experience in serving customers in a bakery environment preferred. Proficiency in weighing, pricing, packaging, and processing payments of baked goods. Ability to manage ingredient inventories and to track expiry dates. A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually appealing displays of baked goods. Advanced ability to multitask and follow instructions given by bakers. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

WALK would like to add someone to the team! Positive attitude and hard working are a must. This is a tipped out position but $18/hour guaranteed. Most pay periods are $20-$21/hour. Looking for experienced prep cook and dishwasher to join our busy seafood and cocktail bar. Ideal candidate will be able to maintain clean works spaces and keep up with assisting line cooks with necessary prep while also keeping dish pit clean and organized. Will be comfortable cleaning and or prepping outside of kitchen on occasion as well as assisting line with restocking products during service, getting ice from the ice machines and helping keep FOH stocked with glassware and silverware. Candidate must also be willing to learn how to shuck oysters and occasionally assist raw bar.
