Line cook with general experience for a full-time position available. Must be responsible with schedule, respectful, and able to work as part of a team. This position is a full-time role. Schedule will be discussed in person, as well as hourly or weekly pay depending on experience and qualifications. Job Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and restaurant's standards. - Set up, maintain, and sanitize cooking stations before, during, and after shifts. - Keep and maintain inventory, ensuring all ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated using FIFO practices. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring longevity and efficiency. - Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and attention to detail. - Demonstrate strong knife skills, including proper cutting techniques for vegetables and proteins. - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service. - Exhibit teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. DESCRIPTION: The Shipping Assistant is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders with accuracy and efficiency. This role supports both the production and service teams by ensuring that outgoing orders meet company standards for quality, presentation, and timeliness. The Shipping Assistant plays a key role in maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering a positive customer experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for delivery and shipping. Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and order specifications. Maintain organization and cleanliness of shipping and storage areas. Assist in managing shipping materials and inventory, notifying management when supplies need replenishing. Coordinate with delivery services and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Support additional tasks as needed to meet operational demands. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on one’s feet for an extended period of time. Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Accountability for order accuracy and timeliness. NYC DOH Food Handler’s Permit card and/or ServSafe certification is a plus.
