Applicant must have 12 ECE units along with 3 units of Infancy/Toddler course. A Taekwondo school located in Culver City is seeking motivated instructors with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. These instructors will facilitate training in Taekwondo and other martial arts for students aged 4 and above. Applicants for this position must have great people skills, good communication and listening skills, and must be professional at all times in front of students and parents. Applicants must be willing to be dedicated to becoming a prominent member of the school. This is a part-time position, and workdays are : Monday and Friday 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday 4:20 pm to 7:20 pm Wednesday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Training in duties and other skills will be provided. Applicants must have studied and trained in the style of Taekwondo. Wage is negotiable depending on the skill level of applicants. Tutor/Mentor for 7th Grader – Part-Time, In-Person (30 hrs/week) We are seeking a dedicated Tutor/Mentor to help a 7th grader excel academically and personally. This role goes beyond homework help—you’ll be a mentor, guiding him toward better habits, academic achievement, and preparation for future success. Responsibilities: • Provide daily, non-classroom instruction and homework support. • Ensure all assignments are completed accurately and on time. • Prepare the student for the SHSAT and SAT exams. • Establish academic goals and track progress with regular reports. • Offer constructive feedback and communicate with his teachers to monitor behavior and school performance. • Mentor him in good behavior, reduce screen/electronics dependency, and instill the importance of education. • Encourage discipline while supporting extracurricular interests-especially basketball, which he loves. Qualifications: • Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring (retired teachers are highly encouraged to apply). • Strong knowledge of core academic subjects. • Ability to build rapport with students while setting clear expectations. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
